Flint Campus and city beyond (Eric Bronson, U-M Photography)
Flint: Past and Present
This spatial history of the city of Flint explores how its landscape has changed and how these changes have impacted different communities.
The project covers three different sites in Flint: Civic Park, Southside, and Stone Street. Through historical maps, interpretive essays, and photography, the exhibit examines the themes of racial segregation, urban renewal, and Indigenous histories of Flint.
